Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and motivational teacher trained in primary education to join our established team, which is led by experienced senior staff.,

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching aligned with the Marland curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive and structured learning environment that meets the social, emotional, educational needs of pupils.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to engage pupils with complex SEMH needs effectively.
  • Participate in online teaching sessions as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of the school's curriculum and teaching practises.
  • Maintain clear communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and well-being.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in delivering primary education.
  • Ability to implement a primary-led teaching model within a special school setting.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pupils with SEMH and/or complex additional needs.
  • Comfortable and proficient with online teaching platforms and digital tools., Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • Resilient, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a collaborative and evolving curriculum., We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
