Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated General Surgery Specialist Registrar (ST3-8) to join our dynamic surgical team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your surgical skills and clinical knowledge while working in a supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients, participating in outpatient clinics, and assisting in complex surgical procedures under the supervision of experienced consultants. This position offers a unique chance to engage in both elective and emergency surgeries, while also contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings and the training of junior medical staff. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting pre-operative assessments, managing post-operative care, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, along with a strong foundation in General Surgery, demonstrated by prior experience in surgical settings. You should have completed Foundation training (or equivalent) and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as collaboration is key in our fast-paced environment.
