General Services Manager

General Services Manager to lead the delivery of Soft Services at our site in Peterborough. You'll oversee catering, cleaning, security and handyperson services, ensuring everything is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. With a strong focus on GMP compliance and audit readiness, you'll lead teams, build strong client relationships and ensure excellent service delivery across a busy 24/7 manufacturing environment. As a General Services Manager you'll:

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of multiple Soft Services across the site.
• Inspire, manage and develop teams to deliver consistently high standards.
• Build trusted relationships with the client and key stakeholders.
• Drive excellent standards across GMP, hygiene, housekeeping and compliance.
• Ensure robust health & safety processes, procedures and controls are maintained.
• Monitor service performance against KPIs, SLAs, quality and financial targets.
• Manage contractors and ensure all services meet required standards.
• Lead audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency and customer experience.
  
  Proven Facilities Management experience within a multi-service environment.
• Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of GMP, compliance, auditing and health & safety.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance.
• Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within a manufacturing or 24/7 environment is desirable.
• IOSH or relevant risk assessment qualification is desirable.

• Primarily Monday-Friday, with flexibility to support occasional weekend requirements as part of a 24/7 operation.
