General Service Assistant

As a General Service Assistant, you'll be front and centre in delivering a welcoming experience to our customers. Your day-to-day will include:

- General daily kitchen/FOH cleaning to health and safety and hygiene standards.

- Serve food and beverages to customers.

- Operating tills and handling cash.

- Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery

- Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas

- Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services.

- Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of stock and merchandise.

- Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work.

- Complete daily paperwork.

- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

A friendly, customer-focused attitude

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a bonus - but not essential, full training provided

- Must be 18+

- Eligibility to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years (security clearance required)

- Basic numeracy skills.

- Own or reliable transport required due to remote location and limited public transport

- Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Location: Richmond Centre, Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (age dependent) Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (includes some weekends) Shift pattern: TBA
