General Receipt & Distribution Assistant

Reporting to the Receipt & Distribution Manager, you will be a key member of the Receipt & Distribution team, responsible for general housekeeping tasks, processing receipts, and managing deliveries across the site. This includes transporting multiple loads and accurately recording information using electronic handheld devices., o Ensure prompt delivery of received goods to end users to a central plan as directed by the Receipt & Distribution Manager.o Ensure that deliveries are accepted at the end users department/ward and ensure a signed record of the delivery is made.o Deal with customer and vendor queries as necessary.o Deliver/retrieve items from Wards, Departments, Hospital Reception or other areas as necessary.o Undertake any other tasks as deemed necessary by the Receipt & Distribution Manager o Establish and maintain a working rapport with Purchasing, Stock Control, Invoice Control and administration colleagues.
