Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank General Practitioner to join our team at Heathrow IRC. Heathrow IRC is based in Colnbrook, West Drayton, providing care to around 820 patients across 2 sites. Within this role you will be overseeing the delivery of a high-quality GP service and clinically supervise GP's who work either substantively or bank. You will assist with training, rotas, clinical sessions, and safer prescribing meetings. Ideal applicants will enjoy working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same and have experience of substance misuse prescribing., Our General Practitioners are extremely valued and are well respected members of the Prison Healthcare community, as a General Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.
- Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
- Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active
- involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities. MBChB or MBBS - Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List

- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
