Full Job Description
Frontier Consulting – General Practitioner
Frontier Consulting is actively recruiting passionate and motivated GPs for a range of high-quality opportunities across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and the Sunshine Coast. We work in partnership with leading healthcare providers across Australia to connect doctors with roles that offer strong earning potential, excellent clinical support and long-term career progression, including partnership opportunities in selected locations.
We partner with well-established, high-demand clinics with strong local reputations and consistently high patient demand, with many operating at or near capacity. These are modern, technology-enabled practices with streamlined systems designed to reduce administrative workload and allow GPs to focus on clinical care. You will join experienced multidisciplinary teams, including internationally trained GPs, within supportive and structured environments.
Why make the move to Australia?
Australia offers GPs the opportunity to significantly increase earnings, reduce workload pressure and gain greater clinical autonomy within well-supported primary care environments. It also provides a long-term lifestyle upgrade, with more time outside of work, excellent schooling options and access to year-round outdoor and coastal living. For many UK and Irish-trained doctors, it represents a long-term career and lifestyle reset.
Benefits Package Overview:
- AUD $400,000 - $600,000+ (approx. £200,000 - £300,000) per annum
- High billings with competitive fee splits (up to 70/30 in selected clinics)
- Guaranteed minimum income during the initial relocation period (where applicable)
- Sign-on bonuses available in selected locations
- Full relocation and visa support
- Clear pathways to Permanent Residence
- High patient demand with established patient bases
Requirements
Key skills and requirements:
- GPs with CCT in General Practice (UK-trained) or equivalent specialist GP qualification
- GPs holding Fellowship in Family Medicine / General Practice (e.g. MRCGP or equivalent)
- Internationally trained doctors who have been assessed as Substantially Comparable by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)
- Doctors eligible for AHPRA registration (or currently in the process of obtaining eligibility)
