Full Job Description
The onsite location for this role is at our Factory 'Hadley Park', in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, right in the heart of where our chocolates are made and where weekly, we can produce between 4 to 6 million of the chocolates we all know and love. Hadley Park is just 5 minutes off the A141 and 1.3 miles from Huntingdon train station, with direct rail links to London King's Cross. What you'll be doing….
- Continuously ensuring line efficiency.
- Placing chocolate into trays and placing the trays into boxes.
- Making pallets up with product.
- Bringing buckets of chocolate to and from the lines.
- Placing lids on moulds.
- Putting inserts into trays.
- Hand feeding flow-wrappers.
- Cleaning the lines.
- Stacking product onto moveable trolleys.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety systems whilst championing a safe working culture and environment.
- Working to and in line with production control systems.
- Support Senior Operatives when setting up the line and line changes.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety. - Good written and verbal English. Desirable
- Food manufacturing experience.

As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we're looking for General Operatives to join our Chocolate Manufacturing Team on a fixed-term contract basis until the end of November 2025. As a General Operative, you will be responsible for delivering the production plan as part of a high-performing team, pro-actively working to continuously improve performance to KPI's and ensuring that our products are produced in line with quality specifications whilst ensuring that good manufacturing processes (GMP) are continuously maintained. Shift Pattern: a rotating weekly shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.
