An opening has arisen for an operational General Manager to lead, in partnership with the Clinical Directors and Head of Nursing, multiple service lines including Trauma and Orthopaedics, Vascular and Urology., The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, with a proven track record of delivery of complex projects. They willhave experience of working at a senior level in an acute setting and will report directly to the COO/Deputy CEO. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe day to day running of services within the service line, delivery of the financial target and ensuring business continuity and resilient service delivery, supported by robust operational and capacity planning., The postholder is accountable for the operational delivery of the clinical services and developing a service strategy in conjunction with clinical leads, setting clear goals to ensure delivery of excellent clinical care. Accountable for delivery of the service line financial target and ensuring continual improvement. Responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe day to day running of services within the service line, ensuring business continuity and resilient service delivery, supported by robust operational and capacity planning.
