General Manager - St Albans, Hertfordshire

We're looking for a passionate General Manager to lead one of our busy pub restaurants in St Albans, delivering exceptional hospitality, building a high-performing team and creating memorable experiences for every guest., As General Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, leading your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences while driving sales, maintaining high operational standards and creating a positive culture where people thrive.,

• Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the business.
• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team.
• Drive sales, profitability and achieve business targets.
• Manage labour, stock and operating costs to maximise profitability.
• Ensure exceptional standards across food, drink and customer experience.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, licensing and health & safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships within the local community to drive trade.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to grow and develop the business.
• Create a positive, supportive and engaging working environment.
  
  Previous experience as a General Manager or an experienced Deputy/Assistant Manager ready to take the next step.
• Proven leadership experience within a busy hospitality environment.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour and GP.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor with the team.
• Highly organised with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and busy trading periods.
