Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum plus Bonus and also a share of Tronc, this can be up to £##### per year

Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience as a General Manager of Gastro style pub for at least 1 year, or proven track record in different styles of pub/restaurants


• Consistent approach to achieving high levels of guest service


• A strong leader and motivator to foster effective team working in line with the company vision


• Passionate about hospitality and delivering high-standard of service


• Highly motivated, proactive, and reliable


• Available to work up to 48 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays


• Financial understanding, experience working with P&L, sales, and labour budgets


• The Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the pub in line with company procedures and brand standards


• Lead by example with hands-on training, coaching, and development of the team


• Engage with the local community to develop and improve repeat business, reputation, and ensure the pub is a community pillar


• Inspire a passion for delivering great food and service culture


• Responsibility for Health and Safety of guests, team, and visitors, including fire procedures and safety assessments


• Ensure standards comply with licensing requirements as the DPS


• Oversee ordering, stock, and wastage control


• Prepare team rosters at least 2 weeks in advance in line with labour budgets

Recently, we launched Harper's Steakhouse, a new premium American Steakhouse brand. It’s an exciting time to join us! Upham Inns is growing, and we want you to grow with us.
