Reporting to the owners (who are very hands off), the General Manager will be responsible for leading the full pub and restaurant operation, creating outstanding guest experiences, developing a strong and motivated team, and delivering commercial performance in line with the venue's ambitions. The successful candidate will combine operational excellence with a visible leadership style and a genuine passion for hospitality.

About youYou have a strong track record in senior hospitality managementYou are commercially astute and operationally strongYou lead from the front and bring energy, professionalism and consistencyYou are confident building team capability and holding high standardsYou understand the importance of community reputation, guest loyalty and quality deliveryYou hold a current Personal Licence and have a full and clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle
Job DescriptionThe Lobster Pot Pub and Restaurant in Blackness on Sea is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead our multi-award winning venue into its next stage of success. This is an opportunity for a high-calibre hospitality leader to take ownership of a multi-award winning business with a strong reputation, loyal customer base and real potential for continued growth.
The opportunityThis role offers a salary of around £40,000 per annum, together with pension contribution, 28 days holiday and the chance to play a leading role in a respected hospitality business with a distinctive local and visitor appeal. A discretionary bonus may also be on offer for exceptional candidates.
