An opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to lead a complex, multi-site contract at Sellafield within Baxter Storey's portfolio.
Baxter Storey are recognised for delivering high-quality, modern hospitality experiences across diverse environments, with a strong focus on innovation, food quality, and service standards. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of a varied catering operation, spanning traditional dining, coffee concepts, grab-and-go outlets, and mobile services.
Reporting into a wider senior management structure, you will oversee the full operational and commercial performance of the contract, with the autonomy to shape the offer, implement new concepts, and drive growth across the estate. The position suits someone who enjoys operating with accountability and treating a contract as their own business.
This is a particularly exciting time to join, with planned expansion and new opportunities to enhance revenue streams and evolve the current offering., Lead and manage a multi-site catering operation, ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across all locations
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring performance aligns with agreed KPIs across financial, safety, and service metrics
Develop and implement innovative food and service concepts in line with current market and high street trends
Identify and capitalise on opportunities to increase revenue and profitability across the contract
Build strong, credible relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders
Lead, develop and empower a management team to deliver operational excellence
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and exceptional customer experience
Maintain full financial accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Lead strategic planning initiatives, including mobilisation of new units and development of annual marketing plans

Proven experience in a General Manager role within a multi-site or contract catering environment
Strong commercial awareness with full P&L ownership experience
Ability to lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams
Experience building and maintaining client relationships within a contract environment
Strong understanding of KPIs across Health & Safety, financial performance, and governance
Operational experience across varied food service formats (e.g. retail, grab-and-go, café, or similar)
Strategic mindset with the ability to implement and deliver business plans
Experience introducing new concepts or driving innovation within catering or hospitality settings
Exposure to large, complex sites or multi-outlet operations, You are a commercially minded General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You're confident taking ownership, making decisions, and driving performance, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer experience.
You bring a balance of operational control and creative thinking, with the ability to spot opportunities, evolve an offering, and lead teams through change. Comfortable engaging with clients and stakeholders, you build credibility quickly and operate as a trusted partner.
