General Manager

As the General Manager you will play a crucial part in ensuring the PGL offering is delivered with excellence to each and every customer, it continues to deliver a strong financial performance, all underpinned by a strong culture of excellent Health and Safety and safeguarding. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you'll develop and lead a dynamic and inspirational team of colleagues, setting clear objectives and ensuring they have all the support they need to be successful in their roles. You'll embrace our core PGL values and implement them in the running of this 24/7 operation, and the complex challenges associated with residential settings of this scale.

Excellent leadership, engagement and communication skills are only part of the role. We are looking for an individual who has the skillset to truly deliver the PGL vision through outstanding colleague engagement, commercial drive and customer experience worthy of this wonderful centre.

• Senior operational management experience from the outdoor activity sector or similar sector with a residential provision
• Confident in managing budgets, cost planning, reporting and forecasting
• A demonstrable track record in delivering excellent guest experiences
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and responsibilities
• Commitment to upholding strict Health, Safety and Food Hygiene standards

• Earn £52,788 per annum (pro-rata) (our pay system is benchmarked and fair)
• Discretionary bonus (based on centre EBITDA performance)
• Maternity Cover Contract from mid-June to April 2027
