We're looking for a General Manager for a popular pub with rooms. Salary up to £45k plus bonus and a generous benefits package. About the pub The Wellington hotel is based in the centre of the market town of Brecon and in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. One of the oldest buildings in Brecon, The Wellington's Georgian façade looks over the town square and the statue of the Duke of Wellington himself. The Wellington has 10 en-suite rooms, a function room with capacity for weddings, patio area, bar area, and restaurant area. The Wellington is currently averaging £22k in weekly sales with a 50/20/30 Food/Wet/Rooms sales mix. We are looking for an experienced operator to take this sleeping giant to the next level as currently its not being driven to its full potential in utilising function space available. Please note: There is no management accommodation available at this site, this is a live out opportunity, therefore you will need to live within a 20-mile radius or be prepared to move to the area.
