Full Job Description
Location: Suffolk -Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Exciting roles are now available for tendering and planning works in Suffolk ahead of future opportunities being awarded. As a General Foreman, you'll play a vital role in supervising daily construction site activities, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be the key link between site management and the workforce, helping to deliver projects on time and within budget.

What will you be responsible for?
As a General Foreman, you'll be working within the construction team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day-to-day will include:
-Supervising and coordinating site operatives, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to programme schedules
-Enforcing health and safety policies, conducting site safety briefings, and ensuring compliance with all regulations
-Monitoring workmanship and quality to ensure all work meets required specifications and standards
-Liaising with site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve on-site issues and maintain project progress
-Maintaining accurate site records including labour returns and daily progress reports
You have proven experience in a construction supervisory role with strong leadership skills
-You possess excellent knowledge of construction methods and can read and interpret construction drawings
-You have strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills to work collaboratively with teams
-You demonstrate good organisational and time management skills to coordinate resources efficiently
-You maintain a strong focus on health and safety compliance at all times, Disability Confident
