The General Assistant (Kitchen Assistant) Part Time supports the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services across Jewish Cares care homes, community centres, and campus environments. Working as part of a busy hospitality team, the postholder will assist with basic food preparation, food service, and the preparation of dining areas, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service. The role helps ensure residents, tenants, visitors, and colleagues receive a welcoming, safe, and positive dining experience. This is a part-time position offering flexible working patterns, including some weekend shifts, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team and contributing to the wellbeing of older people through excellent service., We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant (Kitchen Assistant) Part Time to join our Catering & Hospitality team. You will support food preparation, serve meals and beverages, maintain clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas, and assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of hospitality services. The role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be flexible, team-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable, and training will be provided.
