Full Job Description

You will be responsible for: Delivering engaging GCSE English and/or GCSE Maths lessons. Planning and adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities. Supporting learners with SEND to access the curriculum and achieve their qualifications. Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Monitoring progress and contributing to educational reviews and target setting. Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider team to maximise outcomes for learners.

GCSE English & Maths Teacher (Part-Time), We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to deliver GCSE English (1.5 days per week) and GCSE Maths (1.5 days per week) within a small and supportive Post-16 Alternative Provision., Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Have experience teaching GCSE English and/or GCSE Maths. Have experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs, or within alternative provision settings. Are able to build strong relationships and engage learners who may have experienced barriers to education. Have a flexible, patient, and creative approach to teaching. Are passionate about improving outcomes for young people with additional needs.,

  • Able to work 5 days a week (term time only), Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30
  • Right to work in the UK we CANNOT accept sponsorship or a skilled worker visa
  • Minimum two recent references, covering the last two years
  • Up-to-date DBS/police check, or be willing to obtain one
