Full Job Description

We are looking for four qualified Domestic Gas Engineers to join our London Gas team covering all areas inside of the M25. The role sits within Sanctuary Property Services and you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of gas, heating and hot water systems across our properties. Working closely with the Gas Service Delivery Manager and wider Gas Operations team, you will help deliver an excellent customer experience while contributing to the continuous improvement of our Gas Operations service. The role of Gas Engineer will include:

  • Completing landlords gas safety inspections
  • Servicing and repair of gas central heating systems and HIU
  • Some installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems
  • Installation of radiators, associated pipework and occasional powerflush work
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations

  • We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent unlawful working. A basic Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application which we will pay for. Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is a subsidiary of Sanctuary Housing Association, an exempt charity.

  • To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented - G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • The ability to work alone on a variety of different boiler types and systems
  • Have a proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
