Job Description:
Gardener / Handyperson | 10990 | Permanent Contract | Part-time 18.5 hours per week | £25,185 per annum, pro rata | Grade B | Kings Lynn

Marshfields is a Short Break Residential Unit based in West Lynn providing short breaks for children with disabilities and/or complex health needs aged 5 to 17 years.
We are looking to recruit a Gardener/Handyperson to perform general maintenance and repairs to the residential home.
Part of the role includes undertaking routine inspections to identify any issues or repairs needed. Some repairs will need to be reported and undertaken by external maintenance contractors. Some internal painting and decoration will be required.
Marshfields garden is a large area with play equipment, and this requires continued maintenance, planting of vegetables and flowers. Knowledge of basic plumbing, garden care and proficiency in using hand tools is required. Attention to detail, health and safety awareness, good problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
