The Gardener's role is to maintain the prestigious gardens at Rugby School as directed by the Head Gardener. The School's attractive gardens exist as an intrinsic part of the School Estate, enhancing teaching and living accommodation, driveways, car parking etc. providing amenity space for staff, students and outside functions. The successful candidate should have professional experience of working as a gardener and will ideally have horticultural qualifications to RHS Level 2 or equivalent, good plant knowledge, a full driving licence, PA1, PA6 and a chainsaw licence. You'll need the physical ability to use professional gardening machinery and work outside in all weather conditions. This role is a permanent fulltime position 39 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
