Full Job Description
We are looking for a Garden Centre Department Manager to join our forward-thinking team. Working in the Garden Centre this is a high-volume environment with a fast turnaround.
The successful candidate should have proven managerial experience and be physically fit as this is a very hands-on role and some heavy lifting may be required.
A Department Manager, oversees and leads the staff members of a particular department within the organization. Their duties typically include handling staffing issues, managing departmental operations and monitoring overall progress and success
Department Manager with their department of responsibility would be all the non-selling activities of the centre, cash, stock, audit, H&S, warehousing, stock control. Department Managers are crucial in leading the employees within that segment of the company. They often have a wide range of duties that keep the department operating smoothly. Must have at least 2 yrs experience at Department Manager level or higher within a retail setting.
