Funeral Care Centre Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a Funeral Care Centre Assistant in MANSFIELD - Nottinghamshire, NG18 1RB Your pay rate and shifts as Funeral Care Centre Assistant Day Shift (10:00 - 15:00), Mon - Thurs - £ 12.71 p/h As an advocate of the Funeral Care brand this role is critical in "Helping our clients say their best goodbye" The role is integral behind the scenes as well as supporting Funeral Care operational front-line colleagues to support clients in their time of need. Your role as a Funeral Care Centre Assistant:

• Wash, clean and maintain funeral vehicles to a high standard.
• Carry out detailed vehicle care including waxing, polishing and protective treatments.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure vehicles are presentable and road ready.
• Fully Prepare all types of coffins.
• Handle floral tributes with care.
• Reporting to the Care Logistics Management team and responding appropriately to instructions.
• Ensuring you fully comply with all Health and safety requirements and checks.
• Assist in general housekeeping in both public and private areas, report any building and equipment maintenance to a manager.
• Ensure all work is completed with care, respect and attention to detail.
Although you will not be dealing directly with the deceased, please be mindful you will be in the same environment to where the deceased will be cared for. What you'll do - Being there for each other:

• Always maintaining a professional and dignified manner.
• Ensuring the use of appropriate equipment and approved manual handling techniques are complied with to eliminate the possibility of accident or injury.
