Fundraising and Stewardship Officer (Internal and College Applicants Only)

Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) builds lifelong relationships with alumni and donors to secure philanthropic support for Oxford University priorities. As the University has just launched the Oxford Excellence campaign, you'll join a collaborative team helping to fund groundbreaking research, transform student opportunities and address some of the world's most pressing challenges. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting fundraising and donor engagement activities during one of the University's most ambitious philanthropic campaigns. Working alongside experienced fundraisers and senior colleagues, as Fundraising and Stewardship Officer you'll help ensure donors receive an exceptional experience. You'll coordinate a wide range of activity, from developing high-quality proposals, briefings and donor reports to supporting stewardship communications, prospect research, events and special projects. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues across the collegiate University to bring together information, manage priorities and ensure work is delivered to an exceptional standard. Whether you're coordinating a donor visit, preparing materials for senior leaders or improving internal processes, your work will directly contribute to strengthening relationships that help Oxford University achieve extraordinary impact across the world.

• Experience supporting projects, fundraising, communications, stakeholder engagement or similar activity within a complex organisation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work accurately and consistently meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience producing clear, engaging and accurate reports, briefings or other professional communications.
• Experience using data, databases or CRM systems to maintain accurate records and produce meaningful information.
• Confidence working with established processes while identifying opportunities to improve ways of working and resolve day-to-day challenges.
• The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.

  Salary: Grade 6: £35,681 - £41,636 per annum, with a possible extension to £45,212 including an Oxford University Weighting of £1,730
Contract: Full-time, Permanent This opportunity is open to internal and college applicants only.,
