This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in developing essential English and Maths skills, helping them gain the confidence and qualifications needed to progress into further study, apprenticeships, and employment.About the Role As a Functional Skills Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will:Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills lessons across English and/or Maths programmes,Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,Support learners in developing their literacy, numeracy, communication, and problem-solving skills,Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to

support achievement,Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners achieve successful outcomes.What We're Looking For A relevant qualification in English, Maths, Education, or a related subject area,Experience teaching Functional Skills, GCSE, Adult Education, or a related curriculum is desirable,Strong knowledge of Functional Skills qualifications and curriculum requirements,Excellent communication and organisational skills,A passion for supporting and developing learners of all abilities,A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).Why Join Coleg Cambria?
