Full Job Description
- To ensure the quality of visitors' experience of the museum through the smooth, efficient and effective running of the day to day Front of House and trading operations
- To maximise income from the Museum's trading activities
- Duty management of all front of house facilities and activities
- Shop management, including selection and buying of stock, sales reporting and maintaining the highest standards of presentation, service and safety.
- Appointed First Aider
- A key part of the Front of House team of staff and volunteers which aims to maximise customer satisfaction and income from shop and tea-room
- Shop management, including buying and sales reporting
- Front of House Duty Manager in the absence of the Front of House Manager
- Health and safety in public areas
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Front of House Manager
