Full Job Description

Assistant will play a key role in delivering a consistent, high-standard catering service. This includes supporting the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages, while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment in line with company and client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a professional and efficient front of house service, ensuring a high standard of customer care at all timesSupport the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages in line with Sodexo standardsServe customers during service periods, including operating tills and handling transactions accuratelyMaintain cleanliness and hygiene across all front of house areas, including counters, dining spaces, and equipment in line with cleaning schedulesEnsure food is displayed and served in a clean, safe, and compliant mannerMonitor and replenish stock levels across service areas to meet operational demandAssist with deliveries, including checking goods and recording

temperatures in line with food safety requirementsRecord and report customer feedback, incidents, or any irregularities to management promptlySupport special events and functions as required, and provide cover across different service areas when neededComply with all company and statutory regulations, including health & safety, hygiene, fire safety, and COSHHWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a catering or food service environmentStrong customer service skills, with a professional and approachable mannerAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, standards-driven environmentGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamA proactive, reliable, and hands-on approachExcellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standardsDesirable:Experience operating tills and handling cash transactionsKnowledge of food safety and health & safety practicesRelevant training or qualifications in catering or hospitalityAdditional
