As a Front of House Server (Casual) at Grantley Hall, a five-star 17th-century estate set in the North Yorkshire countryside, you will help deliver the exceptional, customer-first service that underpins our Hospitality Assured World Class status and recent Two MICHELIN Key Distinction. • Take food and beverage orders accurately, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and serve dishes and drinks with attention to detail.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, dietary requirements and special promotions to advise guests confidently.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the front and back of house to ensure smooth service flow and timely turnover of tables.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints and special requests with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, health and safety, and ensure the dining area is clean and well-presented at all times.
• Contribute to team briefings, share ideas for service improvement and support training initiatives.
  
  Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting, preferably in a casual or flexible role.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork ethos, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues across departments.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic numeracy for handling orders and processing payments accurately.
