Front End Developer

Buying a bed is complicated and requires a lot of research and guidance. For many customers our website is both the first place to look and the last place to buy. This role will help develop customer-facing features for our website that help customers find the right products, content and information at the right time so they can get the best night's sleep ever! As a front-end developer within our internal team you will be developing customer-facing features for our website that help customers find the right products, content and information at the right time You'll be key member of a small team who take ownership of the development on our e-commerce website, contributing to improving conversion, performance, seo and accessibility. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the digital team to develop and implement user-facing features using React and Next.js.
• Integrate with Bloomreach Content, our headless CMS.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues.
• Version control, maintenance of front-end code, management of dev environments.
• Contribute to improving website performance, accessibility and SEO.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
• Setup & deployment of A/B tests
• Stay up to date on the latest emerging technologies.
  
  Experience working as a Front-End Developer.
• Solid understand of HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Saas or Less) and Javascript.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Familiarity with Next.js, React, TypeScript.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
Desirable
• Experience with Bloomreach Content or similar headless CMS integrations.
• Experience working with BigCommerce, especially a Headless implementation.
• Any experience in deploying and managing applications on Vercel.
