Friendly and Supportive Personal Assistant Wanted ES3212

We are looking for a caring, friendly, and reliable Personal Assistant to support a 69-year-old woman to maintain her independence and continue enjoying social activities and community life.

This rewarding role involves providing support with personal care, accompanying her to social outings and activities within the community, and assisting her to attend swimming sessions for hydrotherapy exercises. The successful PA will be required to join her in the swimming pool during these sessions to provide encouragement and support while she completes her exercises.

In addition to community access and personal care, the role will also include helping with light tasks around the home as and when needed. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and enjoy building a positive and supportive working relationship.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others stay active, social, and independent while making a genuine difference to someone's daily life. A good sense of humour, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support both at home and in the community would be highly valued in this role.

Duties include:
- Personal grooming
- Moving and handling
- Other relevant duties as required
- Shopping
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Drive midsize Motability vehicle (manual)
- Move her electric wheelchair in and out of the vehicle
- Medication prompting
- Provide encouragement to make sure she is eating and staying hydrated
- Make sure her calendar is organised
- Assist with making her bed/washing up - occasional duty on an as/when basis
- When at the pool, PA will assist with helping her get dressed, undressed, drying off but this is not needed when she is at home

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- Happy to work in a smoking environment
- PA should be over 25 for insurance on the Motability vehicle and have a full clean driving license
