Full Job Description
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you'll bring a proactive attitude to lead your team, keep availability high, and deliver outstanding service to our local community. In this role, you'll be on hand to:
- Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, actively listening to customer feedback and keeping our fresh counters vibrant and fully stocked.
- Lead and coach your team: Manage shift scheduling, training, and talent development, giving colleagues the confidence and capability to succeed in their roles.
- Build a supportive culture: Partner with other Managers to lead an encouraging, performance-driven department where colleagues work with purpose.
- Plan and deliver standards: Manage department routines thoroughly, ensuring market-leading product availability, safe and legal compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations.

- Is a natural communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge, helping others succeed, and keeping everyone in the loop.
- Builds strong, positive working relationships across the whole store team, staying adaptable and open to new ways of doing things.
- Listens attentively to both colleagues and customers, acting on feedback to make things better every shift.
- Leads and steps up with confidence: Confidently steps in as Manager in Charge, running shifts smoothly, handling daily priorities with ease, and keeping our essential food safety standards spot-on.
