Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Fracture Clinic Administrator / Departmental Coordinator to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic team. This is a key administrative role supporting the efficient day-to-day running of fracture clinics across the Trust. You will act as a central point of contact for patients, clinicians and other teams, ensuring smooth coordination of appointments and providing a professional and helpful service at all times.,
- Manage patient appointments including booking, cancelling and rescheduling clinics via telephone, letter and face-to-face contact
- Act as a first point of contact, handling enquiries from patients, clinicians and external agencies in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records across Trust systems (e.g. PAS, Bluespier) Support the coordination and smooth running of fracture clinics and departmental activities Prepare, process and distribute correspondence, reports and clinic documentation
- Monitor and manage clinic stock levels, ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers as required
- Ensure all administrative processes comply with Trust policies, data protection and confidentiality standards
- Assist with data collection, reporting and audits to support service performance and improvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide cross-cover across sites and departments when required
