Job Title: FRA Carpenter Location: London (North, East, South & West - Field Based) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic (DOE) Working Hours: 40 hours per week Travel Time: Paid after first 30 minutes Overview - FRA Carpenter A growing specialist within the passive fire protection sector is seeking an experienced FRA Carpenter / Fire Door Carpenter to support a range of fire safety projects across London. This role will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors, ensuring all works are completed in line with British Standards, FRA requirements, and fire safety compliance regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter with fire door experience to join a reputable business delivering high-quality passive fire protection solutions. Long-term career opportunities within a growing sector The Role - FRA Carpenter As an FRA Carpenter, you will play a key role in delivering passive fire protection works across commercial and residential sites throughout London. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair fire doors and associated components
Carry out works in line with British Standards and FRA requirements
Ensure fire doors meet required safety, quality, and compliance standards
Complete maintenance and remedial works where required
Maintain accurate job documentation and records
Work safely and professionally on occupied and live sites
Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times Requirements - FRA Carpenter NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)

Proven experience in fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works
Valid CSCS or ECS Card
Asbestos Awareness certification
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
Safety-conscious with pride in delivering quality workmanship
Desirable Knowledge of BM Trada / Q-Mark standards
