Full Job Description

To support the development, delivery and evaluation of the clinical pharmacy service to Surgical, Women& Children's specialties. To participate, with support where appropriate, in Consultant led ward rounds. To develop, deliver and evaluate training programmes for pharmacy staff and other members of the MDT managing this group of patients. To actively participate and develop a pharmacy related Quality Improvement programme within these specialties. Embark on relevant training to support progression e.g. independent prescribing, designated supervisor, where appropriate.

The successful candidate will be a pharmacist with strong clinical, prioritisation and interpersonal skills and with a track record of successful multidisciplinary team working. Experience of training and supervision would be desirable.
