What we're looking for:

  • Experience teaching SEND learners and delivering Functional Skills English in a post-16 setting
  • Hold, or be willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification with GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
  • Passionate about teaching and supporting learner progression and achievement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and manage challenging behaviours
  • Organised, proactive and flexible, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Reflective and supportive approach with a commitment to helping learners achieve their potential
