Fostering Supervising Social Worker- Bank

We are currently seeking qualified social workers to join us on a bank basis meaning you'll work as and when required, to complete assessments, consider applicants for Kinship Fostering, Special Guardianship, or both. We use the Form K (Coram Baaf), for completing assessments., Surrey has both urban and rural areas and Social Workers will be expected to have a valid driving licence to drive in the UK, access to a vehicle and be willing to travel across a wide geographical area. Reasonable adjustments where needed will be made for successful applicants who have a disability or long-term health condition to enable them to fulfil the requirements of the job. An enhanced DBS 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Children's and Adults' Barred List checks will be required for this role.

These assessments are required in short timescales, so you will need to be self-motivated and accustomed to working autonomously and to deadlines. You will have good IT and communication skills, with experience of establishing rapport with families in times of stress. You will also need to be willing to attend court or fostering panel, to present your assessment, as and when required.,

• Be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
• Have experience of working in Kinship/Connected Persons Fostering
• Be able to produce clear, triangulated, evidence based and analytical assessments
  
  This is a bank which offers an hourly rate of £23.24 per hour, plus annual leave allowance. For each assessment completed in full, the total payment received will be £2,500, inclusive of any hourly payments made.
We are seeking Bank Supervising Social Workers, specialising in Kinship Fostering to join our fantastic Fostering Team. We have offices in Reigate and Woking, however you will need to be prepared to travel around the county, and beyond, to meet the demands of the role.
