An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full-Time Fostering Social Worker withinShropshire Council's Childrens Placement Service, based in Shrewsbury.The role provides the opportunity to work with Foster Carers and colleagues acrossChildrens Service. You will support the shared vision for children to receive the bestcare and for Shropshire Councils Fostering Families to be provided the best support.The successful candidate will primarily have a caseload of mainstream foster carersThe successful candidate will support and supervise foster carers, ensuring stable andnurturing home environments are afforded to Shropshire's children and young people.Support developments within the team and across service.The role will also involve working inline with Fostering Regulations, completing regularsupervision and support visits, fostering reviews, contributing to events and ensuringchildren are safeguarded in our care.

We are looking for qualified social workers who have enthusiasm, positivity, flexibility,the ability to work to timescales and have a commitment to contributing to thedevelopment of the team and our foster carers., We are looking for a practitioner with fostering experience who is enthusiastic,motivated, positive and can work collaboratively with practitioners, Foster Carers andtheir support network to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable children.
