Full Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Forklift Driving Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipting of stock, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring the smooth movement of materials to and from printing and finishing machines in D1, D2, and D3 factory spaces. This role is crucial in maintaining showroom conditions within the warehouse and its yards and ensuring operational efficiency throughout the warehouse operations.,
- Receipting Stock: Accurately receive and log incoming stock, ensuring all documentation is precise and up to date.
- Stock Control: Maintain correct stock levels, perform regular stock takes, and update inventory records promptly.
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials between warehouse areas and the D1, D2, and D3 factory spaces.
- Machine Servicing: Transport materials to and from printing and finishing machines as required to support production schedules.
- Showroom Conditions: Ensure the warehouse and its yards are kept in pristine showroom conditions, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement and follow efficient work processes to maximise productivity and minimise waste within warehouse operations.
- Driving with full due care and attention at all times., The post holder agrees to be committed to health and safety and be aware of their contribution towards it in the workplace. This includes the requirements to monitor safety and compliance with any systems of safe working within the Group and to take reasonable care of oneself and other people who may be affected by one's actions and omissions at work.
Valid reach and counterbalance forklift driving licences. - Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
