An exciting and rare opportunity - we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated Band 6 Senior Forensic Nurse to join our Forensic Community Learning Disabilities Team (FCLDT).

Our service supports individuals with learning disabilities (LD) across Hampshire who present a significant risk of offending or have had contact with the criminal justice system. This is achieved through risk assessment, proactive management, treatment and education, working closely with partners including local LD services, police, probation, and other key agencies. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference while contributing to innovative, preventative forensic care.

We are committed to high standards of care and recognise that this starts with our staff. We offer strong support for professional development, ongoing learning, and career progression to help you grow in your role.

The post also holds an additional Forensic Lead Payment of £1,400 PA

So, if you are a person-centred, passionate and dedicated individual, who can demonstrate you have the right skills, knowledge and ability to undertake this role, then we would like to hear from you., Please see the attached job description. This provides a full list of main duties and tasks for the role of Forensic Senior Community Nurse.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides joined-up mental and physical healthcare for around two million people across our communities. With over 13,000 staff working in the community and local hospitals, we deliver care at every stage of life, helping people live their best and healthiest lives.

Our mental health services include community-based support and early intervention in psychosis (EIP) for both adults and young people, alongside a network of specialist inpatient wards covering forensic, learning disability, eating disorder and older person's care.

We deliver extensive physical health services too, from urgent community response teams helping frail and older patients remain safely at home, to hospitals at home teams providing acute-level care in familiar surroundings. Our neurological services offer rehabilitation and treatment for conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Head Injury, Cerebral Palsy and Stroke. Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.

Everything we do is underpinned by our CARE values of compassion, accountability, respect and excellence
