Full Job Description
The Forensic Practitioner provides specialist assessment, risk management, and develops intervention plans with the multi-disciplinary team for people with learning disabilities and/or autism who have complex needs, forensic histories, or identified risks. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder promotes recovery, wellbeing, social inclusion, and community safety through evidence-based, trauma-informed practice, while offering specialist advice, support, and training to clients, carers, and partner agencies.
· Toimprovethelivesofpeoplewithlearningdisabilities and/or autism byminimising theimpactof theircondition throughthe deliveryofexcellentservicestopromoterecoveryandwellbeing.
· Tobe compassionate inmeeting theneedsofclientsandtheir carers, and practice within a trauma informed framework.
· Tobeprofessionallyaccountableandresponsibleforclientcare,undertakinga rangeofclinical/therapeutic interventionsin clients' homes andothercommunity settings.
· Toprovide specialistassessmentandadvicetoarangeofservices/organisations regarding themanagementandcareofclients.
· To promotesocialinclusion, community accessandparticipationthroughthe provision ofclientcare.
· Tobe committedtoandtakea leadrole inactivities integraltotheTrust'sQuality ImprovementSystem.
