Food Technology Teacher

anzuk Education has an excellent working relationship with a secondary school in the borough of Ealing (Southall located). We are looking for an experienced or newly qualified Food Technology (DT) Teacher to join the team asap.
Teachers with specialisation in other subject areas are also encouraged to apply, in case other positions are available or to enquire about our Ambassador guaranteed work scheme.

+ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications.
+ Proven experience teaching Food Technolody/DT in a Secondary school setting - across all related subjects.
+ Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

The role is full time beginning in September after the Summer break. It will initially proceed for the full academic year but has potential to extend afterwards if mutually agreed upon. Pay is commensurate with experience on the main teaching pay scale.
Food Technology Teacher Key Responsibilities :
+ Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
+ Work alongside the Food Tech/DT department and cover the coursework set in the UK curriculum.
+ Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
+ Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
+ Help to manage standard of learning and behaviour in the classroom., + Competitive rates of pay for supply and scale rates for long term assignments.
