Full Job Description
A specialist education setting in South London is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a part-time morning basis, starting ASAP. This role would suit a passionate and practical Food Tech specialist who enjoys working in a supportive, child-centred environment. The school supports pupils with additional needs, so a calm, nurturing, and flexible approach is essential. The Role:
- Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons
- Support pupils to develop cooking skills, confidence, and independence
- Promote food safety, healthy eating, and life skills
- Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Experience teaching Food Technology or delivering food-related learning - A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach
- Confidence working with pupils who may have additional needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good safeguarding awareness QTS is not essential. Applications are welcomed from:
