The role We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and reliable Food Technician to join our Food Technology department. The successful candidate will provide practical and technical support to staff and students, prepare ingredients and resources for lessons, maintain equipment and stock, and uphold high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and practical learning, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience of working in a school or educational setting would be desirable but is not essential. Our Food Technology department gives students the opportunity to develop practical cooking skills, creativity, nutritional knowledge and an understanding of healthy and sustainable food choices. The Food Technician will play an important role in supporting engaging practical lessons and helping to create a safe, enjoyable and inspiring environment where students can develop their skills and confidence.
