Food Technician

Northern Education Trustis looking for a dedicated and organised Food Technician to join our Technology Department and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning. As a Food Technician, you will provide vital day-to-day operational support to teachers and students within the department. You will ensure that practical food technology and textiles lessons run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Food Technician ensures that food technology rooms, appliances, and preparation areas run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.The role involves setting up equipment and ingredients for practical lessons, assisting during demonstrations, maintaining stock control, and managing daily kitchen maintenance.
