Food Service Assistant - Norfolk

We are seeking amotivated and reliable Catering Assistant to support the daily operations ofour catering services. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality foodservice while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, andcustomer care.,

• Assist with all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service in line with Sodexo standards
• Deliver a friendly, polite, and efficient service to customers across all catering areas
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a clean and hygienic environment
• Serve customers at counters and operate the till when required, including cash handling and end-of-service reconciliation
• Complete all necessary sales controls and documentation in line with compliance standards
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and performance at all times
• Carry out cleaning duties including equipment, utensils, kitchen areas, and dining spaces according to cleaning schedules
• Ensure service counters are stocked and replenished throughout service periods
• Keep tables, service areas, and restaurant floors clean, tidy, and well-presented
• Refill and maintain vending machines within the restaurant area
• Prepare service areas for the next shift, including setting up cutlery and crockery
• Assist with staff rostering if required, ensuring all service areas are adequately covered
• Undertake routine cleaning such as sweeping and mopping floors daily
