Food Service Assistant

You'll be responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines whilst adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. You'll safely handle knives and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc. To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years, have a legal right to work and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

• Provide high levels of service of food and/or beverages to customers, adhering to the standards set by the company.
• Perform cleaning and replenishment duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Ensure service area and/or service points are clean and stocked up.
• Food assembly and service of same in an efficient manner, which may include some light cooking.
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
• Work with minimal direction and as part of a team.
  
  Ideally, previous experience within a catering environment. On the job training will be provided and must acquire basic food hygiene qualification within first six months of employment.
• Must be 18+.
• Good understanding of written and spoken English.
• Customer service experience.
• Good timekeeping.
• Lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work in the UK and must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
