Full Job Description

  • A relevant Environmental Health qualification.
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance on regulatory and enforcement issues
  • Proven knowledge of legal processes and effective evidence gathering.
  • Experienced in carrying out food hygiene inspections and investigations including the preparation of reports for formal action and the service of statutory notices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with a range of stakeholders and deal effectively with situations involving conflict.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, to enable you to attend meetings and move around sites in the Borough where much of the team's work is delivered.
