Full Job Description
The post holder will have responsibility for supervising a team of officers within the Cardiff Food and Port Health team that require specific training and mentoring for the purpose of attaining competency in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice.
Under the direction of the Operational Manager (Commercial Services) the post holder will undertake a role in Monitoring, Assessing Competency and Performance for Food and Port Health.
The right approach and enthusiasm to deliver excellent services. We welcome applications from fully qualified and competent food officers in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice to join our management team.
The successful candidates will have the ability and drive to provide a customer focused, responsive, risk based, effective and professional service. Key requirements include very effective communication and team working skills, the ability and motivation to solve problems, personal credibility and experience of managing teams and developing staff.
