Hopetown Darlington opened its doors in Summer 2024 as the region's most exciting and newest visitor attraction. This ambitious project extends across a 7.5-acre site and encompasses a wagon themed play park, an immersive time travel experience ride, and even includes a gallery to watch live engineering in action. In addition, visitors can enjoy touring exhibitions, a reimagined state of the art museum and entertaining festivals and events for the whole family. A spacious café and shop are also part of this incredible site which is steeped in Darlington's rail heritage and will offer a family day out like no other. The venue attracts upwards of 200,000 visits annually. Hopetown Darlington is seeking inspired and driven individuals who can bring personality, energy and enthusiasm to the team. We are looking to recruit a part time Food and Beverage Team Member working 21 hpw. As part of the Food and Beverage Team you will execute the daily operations and procedures of the on site café and kiosk. Daily food preparation, visual displays and compliance with all HACCAP and health & safety policies will all be essential to your working day. You will assist in the delivery of a diverse and creative menu, providing barista level service for our hot beverages and possess excellent product knowledge and catering skills. A dynamic and focused approach to general sales and upselling is required, including the ability to work our EPOS system. You will bring an energetic, positive, can-do approach to this front facing role. As an ambassador for Hopetown Darlington, it is crucial you deliver exceptional customer service.
