Food & Beverage Service Expert [Casual] - Aloft London Excel

The Food & Beverage Service Expert is responsible for creating memorable dining experiences by delivering outstanding food and beverage service to guests. This role goes beyond serving food and drinks, ensuring every interaction contributes to a unique and enjoyable guest experience while maintaining Marriott's quality, safety, and service standards. What you'll do

• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience.
• Set up dining areas and tables according to service standards, ensuring all equipment and supplies meet quality expectations.
• Serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
• Communicate guest preferences, dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen team.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest and work areas, following clean-as-you-go procedures and health and safety standards.
• Process guest payments accurately and responsibly in accordance with company cash handling and auditing procedures.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve concerns promptly, and support service recovery to build guest loyalty and trust.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  
  Higher education qualification, diploma, or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related Food & Beverage or hospitality experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication and listening skills, including English language proficiency.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Strong multitasking, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
• High standards of professionalism, integrity, dependability, and presentation.
